“We are committed to the log home industry... Your desire is our desire”

- LOG QUALITY: We use only designated species of trees, free of decay and other undesired defects. We use only DRY logs that have been either dead standing or kiln and air dried that resist warping, twisting or splitting.
- TOLERANCE AND FINISH: The dried logs are machined to a very close tolerance and have a smooth finish. We also offer a hand-hewn look for those who want a more rustic appearance.
- CORNERS: We use only interlocking saddle notch corners - the finest in the industry.
- INSULATION: We use a non-absorbent micro foam sealer between each course of logs to insure a permanent tight fit. No chinking is needed.
- LOG JOINTS: Where logs join together they have a dado slot in both ends, and a wooden key block wrapped with micro foam sealer is inserted into the slot to prevent air infiltration.
- BOLTS: Sevieri and Company uses a pre-drilled bolt system (NOT SPIKES) in our walls to anchor them solidly to the foundation. Bolts are placed on either side of the windows, doors and fireplace openings, or approximately every 4 to 6 feet along the log wall.
- ELECTRICAL WIRING: The logs are pre-drilled at the time of construction to allow for the electrical wiring. We offer electrical adaptor plates that fit the contour of the log walls and give a fine finished look.
- SPECIES OF WOOD: The species of wood available and the most desirable include Lodge Pole and Ponderosa Pine, Douglas Fir, Larch, Spruce and Western Red Cedar.
- DIAMETERS: The diameter of logs go from 8 to 14 inches.
